John James Obituary, Death – We regret to inform you that John James has passed away. It is with a heavy heart that we share this news with you. He was someone who was both a close friend and a colleague. Since October of the previous year, John, our excellent Secretary who had served for a very long time, had been battling illness.
He was getting further and further behind. John James, our well-known Secretary who had been in his position for a very long time, had been battling an illness since October of the previous year. I must share the sad news that John James has passed away, and doing so fills me with a profound sense of remorse and a great burden in my heart. Over the course of the previous year, he had been fighting off various illnesses. John passed away on the 21st of January 2023 when he was a patient in the hospital during the early hours of Saturday morning. His death occurred on a Saturday.
John is remembered by those of us who knew him as a lively and gregarious individual who took great pride in his membership in the Newham Chamber of Commerce and in witnessing the organization’s development over the course of his twenty years of service there. Those of us who knew John are saddened by the news of his passing. Before John became a member of our Chamber, he worked as a writer and editor for a variety of publications located all across east London before he joined our organization.
As a direct consequence of this, he has always been able to keep a close eye on everything that has been going on. It was a lot of joy working with him for for ten years since he was always open to new ideas and took full advantage of every opportunity to implement them. I had the luxury of working alongside him for about 10 years, and it was a great experience.
We want to express our sincerest condolences to his wife Lesley, whom we know John took great care of in recent years, on the occasion of her husband’s demise. John was a pious individual who was a supporter of St. Peter-in-the-Forest Church in Waltham Forest, where he would actively support all activities, and for the broader community in which they resided. St. Peter-in-the-Forest Church was located in Waltham Forest.
