John Francis Obituary, Death- On Monday, we said our final farewells to a remarkable person who was also a remarkable instructor… John Francis, the head coach of the club, had just returned home after spending the holidays with his family when he tragically passed away at his residence. He was at home when the incident occurred.
He had only recently returned to his house. John has a track record of voluntarily contributing his time to the 4-H archery program in Paulding County, serving as a coach for several years. The Paulding County Fairgrounds will serve as the location for this event.
In addition to that, he is a Level 4 NTS coach and acts as a guide and mentor to a great number of individuals from a variety of backgrounds. In addition to this, he was an important figure in the expansion of the 4-H archery program that was conducted at KAC for Cobb County.
This program was hosted there. Additionally, he was an important contributor to the launch of this program. This particular program is supervised by the 4-H Club of Cobb County, which is also the local organization that is in charge of the program’s overall administration.
We as a group are going to miss having him here with us in the future since this opportunity afforded to us by his presence has been so extraordinary and life-changing. It has been great having him here with us in this group, and we will miss having him.
The visitation will take place on Thursday at the Benson Funeral Home in Dallas, Georgia beginning at five o’clock in the afternoon and continuing until eight o’clock in the evening.
The memorial service is scheduled to take place on Friday at three o’clock in the afternoon at the same location as it was held previously. It is my understanding that these two get-togethers are scheduled to take place concurrently at the same venue.
