John Dixon Obituary, Death – Mr. John Dixon, who had been a part of our community in the past, passed away on the 20th of January, 2023, in the city of Owosso. He was a resident at the assisted living facility known as Welcome Home when he passed away; the facility is named after him. The Nelson-House Funeral Home in Owosso, which can be found at 120 E. Mason Street, will be the location of a memorial ceremony that will take place in the afternoon of Wednesday, January 25. At one o’clock in the afternoon, the start of the ceremony is set to get underway. Please make appropriate preparations in light of the fact that the screening is scheduled to take place between the hours of eleven in the morning and one in the afternoon. Both John and his wife Betty were extremely active participants in a wide variety of Central Michigan T’s events for the entirety of the decade that was constituted of the 1990s. This participation included both John and Betty. John was also highly active in the events that were hosted by the Central Michigan T’s. During John’s time with the organization, he held the position of president of the board.

I have attached a few pictures that I took of John’s 1923 Depot Hack that he constructed in the year 1992. You may find them by clicking on the attachment. You can access them by clicking on the attachment in the previous sentence. Several of these photographs have been chosen to serve as featured photos in this post. My collection has grown to include an automobile that I was able to acquire with the help of another club member named Chuck Stanley. This vehicle is now a part of my collection. Chuck Stanley was the one who assisted me in making the acquisition of the automobile, however, the initial purchaser of the vehicle was John. I was able to move on with the execution of this plan because John had already made the sale to Chuck.
