John Alderton Obituary, Death – John Alderton has suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. The 18th of December found John Alderton being brought into the world in the city of Colorado Springs. He received a medal for his service in the United States Navy, which he performed with distinction between the years 1941 and 1945. John was a conscientious worker who had been a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 58 for more than 60 years at the time of his passing.

He had a reputation for being a diligent worker. He wed Jackie Watters Alderton in July of 1943, and the two of them had a long and happy marriage together for 66 years. In total, they were married for 66 years. His loving wife, Jackie, his daughter, LaJuan Alderton Harrison, his son-in-law, Dale R. Harrison, and his daughter-in-law, Janet Alderton; his nephew, John Alderton (Wanda); his niece, Patty Cordova; his six granddaughters and two great-grandchildren; and his nephew, John Alderton Jr., are among the people he leaves behind. All of his other family members, including his son Jim, his brothers Harry and Chet, and his sister Mattee Blasingame, had all passed away before he did.

He and his wife shared a deep love for gardening, and as a result, the dahlias they planted together were so successful that they received a number of honors. He was a husband, father, and grandfather who had a real love for his family and had a contagious enthusiasm for life. He will be remembered for all of these roles. Everyone who knew and loved him will suffer a tremendous sense of loss after his passing.
