Jeffrey Wardwell Obituary, Death – At his home in Huntington on December 22, 2022, late in the evening on Thursday, Jeffrey “Jeff” A. Wardwell, 55, of Huntington, passed away. Over the course of more than 26 years, Jeff has held the position of Seafood Manager at Marsh in Marion. He received his diploma from Marion High School in the year 1985. Car shows were one of Jeff’s favorite things to do, and he had an interest in vintage automobiles in general. He was particularly devoted to his canine companions, Thumper and Pooh.
Jeff Wardwell is the son of Rodney W. and Nancy S. (Abernathy) Wardwell. He was born on January 24, 1967 in the city of Marion. Surviving members of his family are his parents, Nancy West of Warren and Rodney Wardwell and his wife, Carol, of Marion; his partner, Justin Yohe of Huntington; two brothers, Jason Wardwell and his wife, Karen, of Fort Wayne; Rodney Wardwell and his wife, Kate, of Puyallup, Washington; brother-in-law Josh Yohe and his wife, Ashley, of Huntington; mother-in-law Peggy Pursifull of Huntington; and nine nieces and nephew
Randy Yohe, his father-in-law, had passed away prior to his passing.
On Wednesday, December 28, 2022, visitation will be conducted from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, located at 2901 Guilford St. in Huntington, Indiana.
Immediately following the conclusion of the visitation on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, there will also be funeral services held at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, at the time and date of 1:00 pm. The Gardens of Memory cemetery, located in the unincorporated area of Huntington County, will be the location of the interment. Flowers can be sent, or memorial contributions can be made out to the Huntington County Humane Society or to the Huntington County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Program and mailed to the Myers Funeral Home located at 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana 46750. Both can be sent to the care of the Myers Funeral Home.
