Jeff Fisher Obituary, Death – eff Fisher of Flower Mound, Texas has sadly passed away. He was born in Superior, Wisconsin on September 14, and grew up in Bovey, Minnesota, graduating from Greenway High School in Coleraine, Minnesota in 1978. Jeff went on to attend the University of Minnesota before working at Moose Lake State Hospital as a Social Worker and Patient Advocate. He also volunteered as a firefighter and paramedic at Moose Lake, Minnesota, where he raised his three children, Chris, Tom, and Jessie (along with all of their friends who rotated through the Fisher household eating them out of house and home).
In August 2006, Jeff married Cheryl, his true love, at the Grand Canyon. They relocated to Carlton, Minnesota, where he worked for Sappi in research and development (Potlatch). He retired as a Superintendent from the Pulp & Paper Division in 2018. Fisher Roofing was founded by Jeff and Cheryl in Bella Vista, Arkansas. Jeff’s presence and remarkable sense of humour light up every place he entered, and he was a source of comfort for those he loved. Jeff would do anything for anyone without hesitation, and his kindness was never unnoticed.
He showed his love for the Lord by actively supporting his church community in both MN and AR, attending multiple Men’s Retreats throughout the years, and fully following the Lord. Jeff genuinely cared about people and wished them well. He fostered this passion in his children when they were little, guiding them in sports and encouraged them to be the best versions of themselves at all times. His love for his grandchildren was boundless. Jeff enjoyed attending as many sporting activities for his grandchildren as he could. His unmistakable whistle and cheering indicated that he was in the audience.
Chris (Jessica) Fisher, Tom (Farrah) Fisher, and Jessie (Matt) Crowley will remember dad lovingly, as will his two stepchildren, Ashley (Jake) Winchell and Derek (Lara Hamsher) McKibbon. His ten wonderful grandchildren are Hunter, Haley, Tommy Jr., Peyton, Morgan, Jude, Quinn, Brooklyn, Tennley, and Zalia. Among his three siblings are Steve (Judy) Fisher, Ann Szakmeister, Paul (Mary Jo) Fisher, Patti (Russ) Thompson, several nieces and nephews, extended family, and many close friends. Donald and Mary Kay Fisher, his parents, died before him. Jeff was a man who gave many individuals in need an encouraging word, a shoulder, a hug, or a smile. Everyone who knew, loved, laughed with, or looked up to him will be greatly missed. At a later date, a memorial service will be held. He has been known as a spouse, father, brother, and grandfather. Many people adore you.
