Jean Leriche Obituary, Death – Jean A. Leriche, age 27, of Northeast Philadelphia was tragically slain in a targeted shooting at a park close to his family’s apartment. The incident occurred on the same day. The youngest of Sergo and Laurence Leriche’s six children, Alex Leriche was born in Brooklyn, New York, on November 6, 1992. His parents’ names are Laurence and Sergo. He was taught the Christian faith from an early age, and as a result, he believes in God and places his trust in him.
After a short while, the family relocated to Philadelphia, where Alex began his educational career at Creighton Elementary School, then moved on to Grover Washington Middle School, and ultimately graduated from Samuel Fels High School. Alex made the decision not to continue his schooling after graduating from high school and instead enrolled in a variety of training programs in business, trade schools, and construction in order to prepare himself for a career as an entrepreneur.
Alex’s desire to be of service to others was one of his driving forces. He was always accessible and ready to lend a hand whenever assistance was sought from him. He had an innate capacity to form relationships with people of all ages, but particularly with young people. His closest buddies were children whom he had known when he was a very young child and with whom he had grown up together. His friendships were solid and endured for a very long time. He had a strong sense of self-reliance and was regarded as a pioneer by his contemporaries.
His parents, Sergo and Laurence Leriche, as well as his siblings Herlande Leriche, Lysandre (Dee) Leriche, James Leriche, Nadine Florent, and Laura Marcelin, as well as his nieces and nephews Arielle and Joline Florent; Jazmei Perrin; Ethan, Sophie, and Levi Leriche; Laurence, Ava, and Ezra Marcelin, all survive him and will miss him dearly. By his Uncles and Aunts, Wilky Morette, Michelet, and Madelene Leriche, by his Cousins Myriam, Carline, Jude, Jessie, and Jeff Leriche, and by a large number of close friends who he believes to be members of his Family.
