Jasiah Davis Obituary, Death – Jasiah Davis, who was a student at Amherst Middle School and was a member of the Amherst County Public Schools family until she went away suddenly, was a student at Amherst Middle School when she passed away. This heartbreaking information was conveyed to the school system earlier today. Those who were made aware of the tragic news responded with a great lot of sadness upon hearing it. Our entire school community is inconsolable due to the loss of Jasiah, and this terrible event has had a significant impact on each and every one of us in some way or another.
We have made it possible for our students and staff at the Amherst Middle School to have access to additional counselors so that they can receive support as they work through the emotional fallout of this terrible incident.
