Jamie Vanderbilt Obituary, Death – Jamie L. Vanderbilt-Smiley passed away in the Baptist Health Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky, on Thursday, January 5, 2023. She was fifty years old at the time of her passing. She considered the city of Hopkinsville, which is located in the state of Kentucky, to be her home. She was the daughter of Sandra Jean Mikrut Vanderbilt, who had previously lived in Lansing, Illinois, and James Vanderbilt, who had passed away. James Vanderbilt was her father. The death of her mother had occurred. Her birthday is on the 12th of September, and she was born in the year 1972 in the city of Hammond, in the state of Indiana.
She took the exam necessary to become a Certified Nursing Assistant while working as a store clerk in the retail industry, and she ended up passing it. This allowed her to advance her career to the position of Certified Nursing Assistant. Her volunteer work at the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Lansing, Illinois, and the saving of pugs were two of the things that brought her the most joy in life. She has a heart that was kind and generous to others. Jamie derived a great deal of satisfaction from creating a wide variety of handicrafts, some of which were paintings, paintings, candles, and jewelry, amongst other things.
She is survived by her husband, Clesphy Smiley, Jr., of Hopkinsville; her sister, Kimberlee Bland, of Hammond, Indiana; her nephew, Austin (Amy) Bland; her great niece, Nora Bland; her step daughter, Brittany Nicole Smiley, of Murray, Kentucky; and her step granddaughter, Oakley Rain Smiley. She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Brittany Nicole Smiley, of Murray, Kentucky. In addition, she is survived by her stepdaughter’s husband, Austin (Amy) Bland, who is married to Brittany Nicole Smiley. The only one of these people who will be able to continue carrying on her legacy after she has passed away is her father.
