Hugh Murray Obituary, Hugh Murray, Ottawa-area Legends player and organizer Has Died

Hugh Murray Obituary, Death – We are writing to express our deepest condolences to you and the Murray family on the passing of Hugh Murray. The significance of the loss can be attested to by anyone who has ever had the honor of calling a game from behind this wonderful gentleman and first-class catcher, who will be greatly missed. Hugh, may you rest in peace; you will be deeply mourned, but you will in no way be forgotten.

My heart is broken after learning the news about a fellow player and an outstanding individual who was someone I had the pleasure of getting to know over the course of the past year. Hugh Murray’s favorite things in life were playing fast-pitch softball, hockey, and golf, as well as spending time with his family. The influence will be felt all the way down the line in our sport of fastpitch, from the masters to the legends.

This picture was taken in Houston, Texas, in October of the previous year, when the temperature was somewhere in the 60s. Hugh, we pray that you rest in peace; we will miss you deeply. Hugh Murray, who was one of the original members of the Northwest Braves, passed away this morning. Sadly, this morning. During this difficult time, I am thinking about his nephew Joe Murray and his family and praying for all of them. Hugh was one of the folks who turned out to be one of the good guys.
