In the early morning hours of Monday, January 16, 2023, Holly McCoy, who had served as president of the senior class of 1986, unexpectedly passed away. She was surrounded by her family and close friends at the time of her passing. Holly’s participation in the Moore Lions was a source of tremendous pride for her. She was a wonderful leader for the class and she made it a point to always make sure that her responsibilities were met.
It was a source of great pleasure for Holly to organize get-togethers that brought people together, celebrated their accomplishments, and produced memories that will last a lifetime. She had the ability to bring people together and was skilled in the art of cultivating relationships that would stand the test of time. Holly was everyone’s go-to best friend and was always there for them. She had a way of making everyone she knew feel loved and important through her charismatic and charming personality.
Holly possessed the extraordinary ability to bring joy, love, and excitement into the lives of everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. Even though our hearts are heavy, we are aware of the incredible blessing it was to have Holly as a friend and the leader of our MHS group. In spite of the fact that we are having a hard time accepting the loss of our dear friend, we are going to make preparations to celebrate her life.
