Harry Bowling Obituary, Death – BOWLING, Harry F., who lived in Hamilton and passed away on November 13, 2016, at the age of 82, was taken there by Hospice of Hamilton to be cared for. On November 2nd, 1934, Harry F. Bowling made his entrance into the world, following in the footsteps of his parents, Homer F. Bowling and Lilly (Caudill) Bowling. Mallory, West Virginia is where Harry’s birth took place. Harry served in the United States Navy from the years 1952 through 1955. His time there spanned the years 1952 through 1955. He worked a lot of hours as a teacher at Butler Tech, where he pushed his pupils to continue their education and enjoyed connecting with the kids there.
He also worked a lot of hours. He wed Patricia Ponder on the 28th of June in the year 1957 in Hamilton, and the ceremony took place there. Harry derived a great deal of satisfaction from working with wood and completing a wide range of unusual projects around the house. Patricia Bowling, his wife of 59 years, survives him, as do his children David Bowling, Darren Bowling, and Lori Warner; nine granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and four sisters: Wilma Venerable, Rita (Ray) Trunck, Patricia (Charles) Johnson, and Mary (Neil) Gabbard. Also surviving him are his children David Bowling, Darren Bowling, and Lori Warner; nine granddaughters; and five great-grandchildren. His children’s spouses, David Bowling, Darren Bowling, and Lori Warner, are also among those who are left behind after his passing.
Before he did, his great-grandparents, one granddaughter by the name of Brittany Bowling, one brother by the name of Charles Thompson, and two sisters by the names of Doris Smith and Jean Savage all went away. Funeral services are scheduled to take place at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home in Hamilton, Ohio on November 17, 2016, at eleven in the morning. The funeral home can be found at 1350 Millville Avenue. The Reverend Sam Harnish, who serves as pastor of the Park Avenue United Methodist Church, will preside over the service. The departed will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Burial Park when their time here on earth has come to an end. At the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home on Thursday, November 17, 2016, from 10:00 to 11:00 am, friends and family are invited to pay their respects to the deceased at a visitation. In his memory, memorial contributions can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. St. Jude is a children’s hospital that specializes in research.
