Guy East , Guy East Has Passed Away Unexpectedly

Guy East Obituary, Death – On December 27th, 2022, Guy Madison East passed away suddenly while he was sleeping. He was a man who revered God and was loyal to his wife, children, and grandchildren. Guy had a deep love and devotion for the Lord, was deeply committed to the study of the Bible, led an honest life, and did everything in his power to assist others in doing the same. He was devoted to his wife, children, and grandchildren, and he was always looking for new ways to bless, encourage, and instruct them. He was a devoted follower of Christ, an enthusiastic triathlete, a beekeeper, a master tradesman, an author, an innovator, an entrepreneur, a coach, a volunteer, a scoutmaster, and a loving husband and father. He was also a close friend to a great number of people.

He showed his friends, family, and coworkers nothing but kindness and generosity. He inspired everyone around him to achieve their full potential and did everything in his power to facilitate their ascent to the pinnacle of their fields. He was always working on a number of other projects, but the daily devotional that he has been working on for the past four years has been his primary focus. He had just finished the work on the assignment. In the book’s preface, he wrote:

“I, for one, am grateful for his unchanging love for us, as well as his master plan and timing for not only my life, but also for the lives of my best friend and wife of 39 years, our five children, and their spouses, and our eight grandchildren, which continually and persistently beckons His call to His glorious plan,” Praise be to God, for He is the Master Builder, and “I for one” have been eternally changed because of it! On Tuesday, January 3, 2023, there will be a visitation conducted at Second Presbyterian Church beginning at 10:30 a.m. and continuing until 12:30 p.m. Memorial services will be performed in the sanctuary at one o’clock in the afternoon. Funerals and burials will take place at Oaklawn Cemetery.
