Gregg Hixenbaugh Obituary, Death – Greg P. Hixenbaugh, 52, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident that occurred earlier that day. On March 13, 1970, he was brought into the world by his parents, William L. Hixenbaugh and Mary Catherine Johnston, who were living in Rochester at the time. They are the parents of him. The things that people will remember most about Greg are his infectious sense of humor and the undying love he had for his family. He distinguished himself during his service in the United States Marine Corps. His zeal for working out and other forms of physical activity led him in a variety of different paths.
In addition to his role as a coach at the University of North Carolina, he was also actively involved in the “Young Marines” program, which is directed toward the youth of the local community. This program assists young people. After that, Greg was able to secure a position in the National Football League (NFL) with the Carolina Panthers as the strength and conditioning coach for the team. Greg has had a fruitful career that has taken him in many different directions. At one point in his career, he worked as a bodyguard for Shaquille O’Neal.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Clor Hixenbaugh; daughters, Alyssa Fiacco and Shelby (Robert) Cintron; grandchild, Boone Cintron; siblings, Ken (Michelle) Hixenbaugh, Bill Hixenbaugh, Mike Hixenbaugh, Shari (late Mike) Page, and Kevin (Taryn) Hixenbaugh; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who were very close to him. He passed away on His mom’s name is Mary Kay. On the afternoon of Thursday, January 12, from three to five o’clock, members of his family and friends will have the opportunity to pay their respects at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., which is situated in LeRoy at 8700 Lake St. Rd. (Rt. 19).
The Commemoration of His Life will start at 5 o’clock in the evening.
