George Chakey Obituary ,Death – At the age of 64, George J. Chakey, III, a resident of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, passed away at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh on the Saturday, January 7, 2023. On Friday, January 6, 2023, he was checked into the hospital for treatment.
Both of his parents, George J., Jr. and Betty J. (Pollock) Chakey, had passed away prior to the 11th of January, 1958, the day that he was born in Bellevue, Pennsylvania. He was the son of George J., Jr. and Betty J. (Pollock) Chakey, both of whom passed away before him.
George was a self-employed businessman who owned and operated South Beaver Garage during the time that he was actively participating in the labor field. He was the proud owner of a cabin in Marienville, and one of his favorite things to do in his spare time was ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle to the location. He was especially pleased with the achievements of his prosperous business and the fact that he cherished his animals, in particular his canines and felines.
He is survived by his sister, Georgia (Mark) Sommer; his niece and nephew, Joshua and Tawny Bettoni; and his particular friend, Brandy Conner, along with her family, Kathy, Matt, Nick, and Kristen; in addition to a large number of other friends. Joshua and Tawny Bettoni were his niece and nephew. Additionally, he is survived by a large number of other pals. He leaves behind a sizeable number of pals in addition to his family members after his passing.

In accordance with George’s expressed wishes, his corpse will be cremated immediately following the viewing, and the funeral service will then proceed as planned.
