Geoff Johnson Obituary, Death – Geoff Johnson a most wonderful rosarian who had been in ill health for the past two years left us on January 6, 2023 after passing away. Geoff Johnson had been ill for the past two years. I pray that God would grant him everlasting rest. This message is from Colin Hollis, who is currently serving as president of the RSNSW I am writing this letter to inform the members of the Hunter Regional stalwart, Geoff Johnson, who passed away yesterday, January 6, 2023.
The date of his passing was January 6, 2023. It is with a very heavy heart that I must say this. In addition to his work as a Rose Consultant, Geoff was awarded the Bert Mulley Award for his contributions to the rose industry. Geoff was an experienced rose grower who was always happy to share his knowledge and offer the other members of the group with direction and advice. For a significant amount of years, he was in charge of handling the Neutrog distribution for the people who were a part of the Hunter Regional. Everyone will miss Geoff tremendously when he is not there. Our hearts go out to Evelyn and her family during this difficult time.
