Gene Whetsell – who had been ill for a significant amount of time and had served on the County Council for a significant amount of time, passed away yesterday evening in the comfort of his own home after a prolonged and exhausting fight against his illness. He had been a member of the County Council for a significant amount of time. Because of the close connection that we had with him, we are unable to break the news to anyone that he has passed away without feeling a profound sense of loss. Please accept our condolences. Mr. Whetsell was a member of the Fire-Rescue Commission from the time it was established in 1994 until its dissolution in 2004, during which time he served as the Commission’s Vice Chairman. During this time, the Fire-Rescue Commission was in existence from 1994 until 2004.
A total of ten years were spent with Mr. Whetsell serving on the Commission throughout his time there. From 1994 through 2004, he was a member of the commission and served in that capacity for the entirety of that time. Mr. Whetsell had previously held the role of Vice Chairman of the Commission before being selected for one of the positions on the Council. Before that, he had been serving in the capacity of Vice Chairman of the Board. He has been a loyal supporter of the Fire-Rescue Program throughout the entire twenty years that he has been a member of the County Council, during which he has also served as a member of the County Council. During this time, he has also been a member of the County Council. As part of this assistance, the individual will serve on the County Council.
In addition to that, he has always been a supporter of the Fire-Rescue Program and has been an advocate for it throughout this time. His capacity to have compassion for the people around him and to lend a helping hand to those who were struggling will be something that we will miss terribly. In order to live up to our commitments, as soon as we get our hands on the agreements, we will get right to work on the process of conveying them to the appropriate people and organizations. Would it be possible for you to remember to pray for his family whenever you say a prayer for yourself, and to make it a priority to do so? Should you be able to, it would be very much appreciated.
