Gary Mansholt Obituary, Death – The shocking and untimely passing of Gary Mansholt, a treasured member of our organization, is something that the OBN is obligated to report, despite the fact that it leaves a heavy feeling in the heart and a great deal of regret on the part of the OBN staff. Gary Mansholt was a member of our organization for a very long time. Gary Mansholt was a member of our group for a very significant portion of our history. Gary was an even more tremendously good angler than he was a tremendously good friend to all of us, and he was a tremendously good benefactor to the Ontario B.A.S.S. Nation.
He was a tremendously good benefactor to the organization. We are all going to miss him tremendously. A tragedy befell Gary earlier on in this year, and he passed away suddenly. In addition to that, he was a member of Team Ontario and fished for the province of Ontario multiple times. He also competed in fishing competitions as a representative of the province of Ontario.
We will make sure that each and every one of you are kept up to date on any new information that comes to light, and we will relay that information to you as it becomes available.
We will take measures to ensure that each and every one of you are kept abreast of any newly discovered information as soon as it becomes available. I will pray that your line in heaven is always taut and that you never miss an opportunity to set a hook, and I will do so with the understanding that this is my responsibility.
