Gabrielle Williams Obituary, Melbourne Australia Author Has Died

Gabrielle Williams Obituary, Melbourne Australia Author Has Died – On Saturday, the 21st of January, one of our own passed away. Gab Williams was a fantastic writer, a wonderful bookseller, a ferocious advocate for literacy and the arts, and a dearly loved friend to many. Her lively presence will be missed by all of us. It’s a shame to hear that. When it came to managing our grants through the Readings Foundation, Gab was always very helpful. She was always friendly and willing to lend a hand to those in need.

My deepest sympathies go out to her loved ones and friends. Gabrielle was very uplifting and encouraging to the women who participated in the book club at Tarrengower Women’s Prison. Her upbeat attitude and genuine interest will remain ingrained in my memory forever.

Have a peaceful rest. Gabrielle was the epitome of a delightful and upbeat human being. Sincere condolences go out to her family, friends, and the many people she worked with across Readings and the industry as a whole. I had the pleasure of moderating a discussion that she participated in at (the most recent?) Reading Matters, and she was a delight to work with. I also ran into her occasionally in the Malvern location.

Gabrielle Williams has previous experience working in television, as well as advertising and recording studios. Beatle Meets Destiny, her first book aimed at older children and teenagers, was a finalist for two literary awards in the year 2010. The current rating for her new book on Goodreads is 4.48 stars out of 5, which the author is ecstatic about. The title of the book is “The Guy, the Girl, the Artist, and His Ex.”
