Gabe Mott Obituary, Exceptional Artist Of MVP Good People Has Died

Gabe Mott Obituary, Death – With heavy hearts, we want to tell you that our beloved Gabe Mott passed away a few days ago. He died peacefully in his sleep at home. Gabe was loved and adored by both our team and our clients. He was positive and endlessly thoughtful. Gabe could recognize people’s needs and feelings effortlessly, and he was always ready to connect and engage deeply. He made people feel better with his warm presence and supportive approach to everything. Gabe was an exceptional artist and his creative, out-of-the-box approach impacted our business from set to office. You may have noticed that our social media presence has ramped up significantly this past year and it’s all thanks to Gabe’s vision.

He was always coming up with unique ideas to make each of our projects better as a producer and editor. Most recently, you can see his wonderful design aesthetic in our gorgeous holiday card complete with milkweed seeds and a save-the-monarchs website. We have a core value of being Good People in the world and in our industry, and Gabe embodied that principle in every way. You could find him every first Saturday of the month managing our Feed The People events in Oakland, passing out food and coffee with his charismatic smile and empathetic vibes. On the West coast and in Maui he brought people together to celebrate art, music, and love, producing impactful events like Source, Colorbox, and countless art shows.

He was deeply political and always ready to engage in smart conversation, projects, and activism to bring more justice and empathy to Oakland and our world. Gabe leaves behind a legacy of how we can all show up with love and authenticity in relationships both personal and professional. Gabe was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and the truest of friends. He will be hugely missed by many, as he was cherished in communities far and wide. Personally, he was one of my closest friends for over thirty years and can never be replaced in my heart. There are good people in this world and he was one of the best. A memorial for Gabe will be planned later this year. With love and gratitude,
