Elise Wischmeyer Obituary, Peosta, Iowa Longtime Resident Has Died

Elise Wischmeyer Obituary, Death – Elise Wischmeyer, formerly of Peosta, Iowa, died suddenly on Tuesday in Long Beach, California. Alicia Tabet (Mark), John Wischmeyer (Yenny), and Robert Hoose all admired Elise (Angie). She was a cherished sister to Lexi Wischmeyer, Mackenzie Hoose, and Everett Wischmeyer; a cherished step-sister to Josie Christie and Keegan Christie; a proud Aunt to nephews Tristan and Rory; and she is survived by adoring Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles. Uncle Ellie graduated from Green High School, where she was a member of the varsity cheerleading squads for both basketball and football.

She was a member of the North East Ohio All-Stars throughout her childhood. She received degrees from Kent State University and the California University of Pennsylvania, both located in the vicinity of Pittsburgh, where she also resided and maintained a job in order to finance her education. Ellie moved to Orange County, California, in December 2021, intending to start a new life. She also planned to start school the following spring. Those who knew Ellie regard her as a dazzling light of optimism in a world that can be filled with pain at times, and we have all lost a shining star in our lives as a result of her death.

Ellie appreciated the opportunity to entertain and amuse her friends by singing and performing for them. She was the type of person that would strike up a conversation with anyone, no matter how shy they were. She was a kind, loving lady. She had the most beautiful smile, the kind that could make anyone’s day. You knew the moment you met her that you’d made a friend for life; you’d never, ever forget her. Nobody could match her bonds with her family and friends. Her nephews were her entire world, and she lavished love and care on them.

If you were in the room when Ellie looked into their eyes, it would have been tough to detect her true happiness. She desires nothing more than a happy and prosperous life with him. Robert Wischmeyer, her grandfather, and Sandra Kay Smith, her nanny, both died before she was born. She also has numerous great-grandparents. Everyone who knew and loved her will be saddened by her death.
