Eleanor Hughes Obituary, Resident Of Marion, NY, Has Sadly Passed Away

Eleanor Hughes Obituary, Death – Eleanor Marie “Ellie” Hughes, age 60, of 5425 State Route 36, Canisteo, New York, passed away at St. James Hospital on Thursday evening (January 12, 2023) after a long and courageous battle against her illness. Eleanor Marie “Ellie” Hughes was a resident of Canisteo. She was the product of a delivery that took place earlier that day and was born nine months later on June 9, 1962 in the city of Newark, New York. Her parents, Glen and Margie Petty, were her parents.

Ellie spent her formative years in the New York community of Marion, where she also completed her secondary education and ultimately earned her diploma (class of 1982). Since she moved there six years ago, she considers the Canisteo region and the areas immediately surrounding it to be her permanent home. Kevin Harvick, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Richard Petty are a few of her favorite NASCAR drivers. She also likes Richard Petty. She enjoyed watching the racing series on television.

Ellie found that the time she spent in the kitchen preparing her go-to meals was very relaxing and enjoyable to her. In addition to that, she was a voracious reader and particularly enjoyed books that dealt with the Native American culture as well as wolves. Her parents and her brother, Bill Petty, had all passed away prior to her passing, and she herself was predeceased by her brother. On February 8, 2001, Ellie wed a man whose name was Jamie Hughes. The ceremony took place in a church. There has been no confirmation that Jamie Hughes has passed away.

In addition, her surviving daughters are named Kim (Jessie) Jones, Misty Woodems, and both of them are located in the state of Kentucky. In addition, Richard Petty, one of the deceased person’s brothers, who resides in Marion, New York, as well as four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews, are among those who have survived. Richard Petty is one of the people who have survived. This requirement has been met on Ellie’s behalf in light of the fact that she demanded there not be any predetermined calling hours.
