Devin Smith Obituary, 28-year-old Man of Cumberland MD Has Passed Away

Devin Smith Obituary, Death – Devin TaShan Smith, 28, of Cumberland, Maryland, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 6, 2023.
Devin was born on February 13, 1994, and was raised by his Nanny, Sharon Brimhall, whom he adored and greatly missed when she died in November 2018. People that adore Devin describe him as personable, clever, and hilarious. Because of his charm and vitality, he rapidly acquired friends wherever he went. He was very protective of his loved ones, often putting their demands before of his own. He was extremely brilliant and inventive. His talent and writing abilities were unrivaled.

His lyrics were written with his heart and soul. He left a piece of himself in each song he wrote. Devin cherished his family above everything else, including his own and adopted families. And he was adored in return. Devin has been reunited with his Nanny, Sharon Brimhall, Memaw Fanny Mayo, Aunt Francis Rader, and brother Trae Smith in death. His father Floyd Brimhall and girlfriend Desiree, mother Donna Smith and stepfather Frank Smith, maternal grandmother Margaret Solis and spouse Oscar survive him. Gary Shriver III, Dalton Brimhall (girlfriend Chey Nair), Taija Thomas, Taylor Wade, Jeremy Brimhall, Elijah Campbell, and Damian Smith, his uncles Ray Brimhall, John Brimhall and wife Sabrina, and Joshua Smith, his aunt Loretta “Mook” Parker and fiance Harold Shipe, his cousins Dustin Adams, Sharon Geiger, Chloe Watkins, Leilani Shipe, John Brimhall, Jr.,

Devin also leaves behind his soulmate and partner Samantha Martin. He also leaves behind many of his selected family members, including Aunts Jacky Rogers and Samantha Cosenza, brothers Dustin Lambert, Derek Sheetz, and Joseph Williamson, sister and best friend Makayla Bunbasi, and far too many other close friends and family members to mention. Devin was adored. Devin will be remembered for the fun and music he brought to the world, his wild and unpredictable character, intense loyalty, and wicked sense of humor. Many people will miss him tremendously. Friends may call at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., Cumberland, from noon to 2:00 PM on Friday.
