Daniel Keahey Obituary, Death – An investigation into the purported shooting that took place in Somerville on Wednesday evening is being carried out by deputies of the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office in direct response to a report that shots were fired in the area.
According to the information that was provided by the sheriff’s office, the victim, who has been identified as Daniel Keahey, was fifty years old at the time that the incident occurred. On the evening of January 18, deputies responded to a complaint on Curry Chapel Road and found Keahey wounded from a gunshot there about eight o’clock. Keahey was suffering from a gunshot wound. Keahey had sustained an injury. Earlier on same day, Keahey was the target of a gunshot to the head.
Keahey was shot, and he subsequently passed away as a consequence of the injuries that he had incurred as a result of the shooting, as stated in a statement that the sheriff’s office put on social media. The sheriff’s office also stated that Keahey was shot.
The deputy sheriffs were able to unequivocally identify the person who had opened fire at the scene, and shortly after they made this realization, they were able to take him into custody. At this time, nobody has been taken into jail, and no arrests have been made in connection with this situation.
