Dan Hale Obituary, Death – Early on Sunday morning, we were shocked to learn that our long-time ACWHCC English instructor Dan Hale had passed away unexpectedly. During this difficult time, we want his family and friends to know that our thoughts and prayers are with them. “Everyone who can remember their own education remembers their teachers more than the methods and procedures that were actually put into practice throughout their schooling.
The educator is the central figure who occupies a position of paramount importance throughout the process of education. Dan was a wonderful friend to each and every member of our family over the course of a number of years. My father was unable to make the protracted journey in order to be present for the wedding that Tom and I had over 28 years ago because it was too far for him to go.
Dan was so thoughtful that he offered to be my wedding marshal very soon after I asked him about it! He was such a kind and jovial person, and he genuinely enjoyed giving without any expectation of receiving anything in return. He was a great person all around. Even after I decided to go back to school to get a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then a Master of Science in Nursing degree, he never wavered in his support for me or questioned my decision.
He was always there for me. We are not going to be able to forget Dan’s infectious laugh, his amazing sense of humor, or the company that he offered to us! All three of these things are going to stick with us! We would like Dan’s children and the rest of his family to know that they are in our thoughts and that we are sending our condolences to them during this difficult time.
