Dan Fisk Obituary, 67 Years Old, Dan Fisk of Noxen, Has Passed Away

Dan Fisk Obituary, Death – On Thursday, January 12, 2023, Dan Fisk, who was 67 and from Noxen, and Kris Fisk, who was 59 and from Harveys Lake, both died suddenly while doing something they loved. They were both born in Kingston. Dan was born on July 6, 1955, and Kris was born on January 9, 1964. Their parents, Charles and June Fisk, died before they were born. Both Dan and Kris went to Lake-Lehman High School. Dan graduated in 1973, and Kris graduated in 1982. Both of them worked as boilermakers for Local #13. Both of them loved to hunt and fish and do other things outside. Dan went to the Shavertown Back Mountain Harvest Assembly Church. Kris was in the Army Reserves for the United States. Both of them were kind and loving men.

These two brothers are very different, but what we can say about one can also be said about the other. They’re two of the most honest people you’ll ever meet. You never had to guess what they were feeling or thinking. Their sense of humor always made you laugh and made the world seem like a better place. They knew what it meant to forgive and how to make things right again. They were kind and knew when to open their arms and give someone a hug.
They knew the most about hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, or just spending time in the woods. They were always willing to share what they had learned with anyone who asked.

When you needed help or were going through a hard time, you could count on them. Our family will always be grateful for the memories, and their spirit will always live on in each of us. We hope to learn to be as kind and helpful as they were one day. Both of them could make the world a better place just by being in it. They will be missed. Both of them are survived by their sister Connie Jones (and her husband Randy) of Harveys Lake, their brother Jim Fisk (and his wife Wendy) of Dallas, their niece Wendy Scavone, their nephew Randy Jones, Jr., and many other friends and family members who will miss them very much.
There will be a celebration of life at a later time. Donations can be made in Dan’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or Patriots Cove, 4334 State Route 29 S, Noxen, PA 18636.
