Clyde Williams Obituary, Death – Clyde Williams, who had spent the preceding 78 years of his life in Morrilton, Arkansas, and who had reached the age of 78 when he passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022, was a resident of that city. In Springfield, Arkansas, on July 26, 1944, he was born to his parents, Ermon Otis Williams and Osie Passmore Williams. His grandfather was also named Ermon Otis Williams. Osie Passmore Williams was his father, and he was the son. His father’s name was Ermon Otis Williams, and his mother’s name was Osie Passmore Williams. He was given the same name as his father. His membership in the Army National Guard and the Plummerville Faith Assembly of God Church was very important to him. He placed a large amount of emphasis on both of these activities. Greer was Clyde’s business partner, and the two of them co-owned Greer’s Department Store together.

Clyde was the store’s namesake. In addition to being co-owners of the business, Clyde and his dogs had a passion for the sport of bird shooting. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Lefler Williams, who resides in Morrilton; his son, Paul Doan, who is married to Laura and resides in Searcy; three of his grandsons, Aaron (Lauren), Jay, and Graham (Laney) Doan; and five of his great-grandchildren. The Harris Chapel will be the location of the funeral service, which will take place on Tuesday, October 25, at 10:00 a.m., the day after the individual passed away. It has been decided that the Reverend Paul Doan will preside over the wedding as the officiant. When the time comes, the burial will be conducted at the Kilgore Cemetery. On Monday evening, between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m., members of the family will be available at the funeral home to meet and greet those who have traveled to pay their condolences.
