Charles Moszczenski Obituary, Death – Charles Walter Moszczenski, who was 69 years old and a resident of New Bedford, Massachusetts, passed away while he was at home on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. He was a resident of Massachusetts. Although he was born in Acushnet, he spent his entire childhood in New Bedford. This is despite the fact that he was born in Acushnet. Both of his parents, Walter and Sally (Panek), had already passed away before he was even born. His mother’s maiden name was Panek. While he was obtaining his Master’s degree from what is now known as the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, it was back when it was still called Southeastern Massachusetts University. He went to school at the institution that is now recognized by its current name. He earned his high school graduation from New Bedford High School, where he also attended.
Mr. Moszczenski was able to reflect fondly on his long and fruitful career as a teacher of chemistry and physics at Apponequet Regional High School, where he worked for more than 40 years before taking early retirement. During the course of his time there, he was able to provide a significant number of pupils with the opportunity to broaden their scientific grasp. The fields of chemistry, photography, astronomy and the NASA program were all areas in which Charlie specialized. Additionally, he had a strong interest in the exploration of space.
In addition to his nephews Kevin and Keith Bachand, he also has a number of great-nieces and great-nephews. His godson and nephew Michael Bachand and his wife Lisa are members of his family. His sister Carol Bachand and her husband Henry are the ones who will carry on his legacy. He was married to Carol Bachand, and the two of them had one kid together. The person who went away before him was his nephew, David G. Bachand.
