Cathy Duncan Obituary, Death – Cathy Duncan, a person who was a part of the Friendship Community, passed away recently, and we want you to know how devastated we are to share this news with you. We ask that you please accept the condolences of the Friendship Community on behalf of Cathy’s family and the others who were close to her. In spite of the fact that Cathy had been going to gatherings that were organized by the Friendship Community for a significant amount of time previous to the month of March 2021, she did not become an official member of the Friendship Community family until after the month of March 2021 had passed.
Coloring, hanging out with her roommates and watching television, listening to music, buying ice cream sundaes at restaurants, and going on outings to natural areas such as Hershey Gardens were some of Cathy’s favorite activities to do in her spare time while she was not working. She was always friendly and encouraging, glowing like a ray of light in the home that she lived with her family, and she never ran out of information that she could offer with other people. The time that Cathy spent with us at Friendship Community was very brief; despite this, the time that we spent together will always be treasured, and we find comfort in the idea that you are now in the presence of our Lord.
We are aware of the fact that Cathy passed away while she was still with us at Friendship Community. When God eventually brings you into his eternal kingdom, it is my prayer that he envelops you in the reassuring embrace of his arms and overwhelms you with the boundless love that he possesses for you. I pray this because I know that this is what you deserve. We are asking you to keep the members of Cathy’s family and the other people who called her home their thoughts and prayers as we grieve the loss of a person who was as lovely and kind as Cathy. Cathy passed away recently, and we are all saddened by her passing.
