“On January 10, my younger brother Bruce was riding his bicycle when he was struck and killed by a car that was driven by a motorist who fled the scene after the accident. The driver of the automobile managed to get away from the accident scene.
The driver did not stop to provide assistance when it was needed. My sister and I, together with his six nieces and nephews, have had a lot of work to do in order to get through everything that has happened in the recent past so that we can come to terms with everything that has transpired.
This is so that we can come to terms with everything that has occurred. We were under the impression that we would have my brother with us for a much longer period of time than we actually will due to the fact that he is only 37 years old. However, this is not the case. Because we mourn him so very deeply, it has ripped a hole in everyone of our hearts.” Christi Raynor is the one who authored this piece.
