Brianna Nunley Obituary, Death – Brianna Christine Nunley was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She died unexpectedly on January 6, 2023, three weeks after her 40th birthday, in Napa, California. Brianna Nunley, also known as Brie, was born on December 16, 1982, at Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa, California, to Brian and Nancy Nunley. Brianna enjoyed sports as a child and spending time with her cousins. Brianna worked as a Journeyman Food Clerk at a local Safeway for ten years after graduating from Northwood Elementary, Redwood Middle School, and Vintage High School in Napa.
She then worked as a Sales Analysis Associate for The Perfect Puree of Napa Valley for three years, during which time she traveled to several states for work. Brie graduated from the North Bay Trades Introduction Program in 2017, where she learned the fundamentals of construction math, drafting, and drawing. She has been an Account Manager at Sander, Jacobs, and Cassayre Insurance Services since 2018. Brianna had a variety of interests, ranging from cooking to music.
She adored the holiday season when she outdid everyone else’s gifts with her expertly curated stockings and, in recent years, spoiled everyone with the homemade beef jerky she learned to make from her Aunt Beth. Brie was obsessed with sports and even named the family dog D-Rod after Dennis Rodman. Her childhood hobby of collecting trading cards had recently been revived. Brie, on the other hand, was a lifelong supporter of the Bay Area’s San Francisco Giants, San Francisco 49ers, and Golden State Warriors.
She was unwavering in her belief that Barry Bonds deserved to be in the Hall of Fame, and she will undoubtedly be disappointed to miss the rest of the Niners’ season. Brianna’s favorite activity, on the other hand, was spending time with her disabled younger sister, Michelle. Brianna and Michelle had a special bond that grew stronger in recent years as Brianna cared for Michelle. Recently, the two have enjoyed watching the latest movies and television shows together.
Brianna’s generous heart was an admired quality, perhaps the most noticeable aspect of her observed by all who were fortunate to know her. Brie was a devoted friend who was always willing to lend a hand if you needed it. Brianna’s parents, Brian and Nancy Nunley, and her sisters, Kim (April) and Michelle survive her. She was devoted to her family. Those who had the pleasure of knowing her will miss her greatly. A Celebration of Life will be held on January 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at CrossWalk Community Church in Napa. Please feel free to wear your favorite team jersey in honor of our Brianna, who was a huge sports fan.
