Beverly Knickerbocker Obituary, Death – Funeral services for Beverly Sessions Knickerbocker, age 79, will be held at Autry’s Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home on Monday, January 23, 2023, at 10:00 A.M., with Bro. C.R. Chapman served as the officiant. Beverly Sessions Knickerbocker was a resident of Ben Wheeler. Prior to the funeral service on Monday, there will be a time for family and friends to pay their respects from 9:00 to 10:00 am.
After the service, the burial will take place at Red Hill Cemetery. At 2:00, the Heritage Trail Cowboy Church will provide food for the entire family. The funeral for Mrs. Knickerbocker was held on Tuesday morning in Tyler. She was born in Eustace, Texas on June 19, 1943, to the late Marvin Oscar Sessions and Ella Jo Hopson Sessions. Her parents have already passed away. Beverly attended Brownsboro High School, Tyler Junior College, and Texas Women’s University for her education.
She graduated from all three institutions. She worked for Texas Specialty Underwriters in Rockwall, Texas, until she retired from the company. She was a member of the Ben Wheeler congregation of the Heritage Trail Cowboy Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Tom Knickerbocker, daughter Tracey Turner, son Jon Turner, brothers Billy Richard, Ronnie, and Randy Sessions, and sisters Nell Eyster, Joyce Adams, Peggy Coldiron, and Gail Smitty.
Her parents also passed away before she did. Surviving members of her family include her granddaughters Laney Morrison, Juliana Carlberg, and Sara Roberson, her grandsons David Borger, Danial Wildman, and Lane Davis, her great-granddaughters Lilah, Addie, and Astrid, her great-grandson Magnus, her daughter-in-law Linda Turner, and her sister Joanne Caldwell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch, which can be found at 600 SW 11th Ave., Amarillo, Texas 79101.
