Barbara Bledsoe Obituary, Death – On Friday, July 22, 2022, Barabara Jean Bledsoe, who lived in Shelby and was 69 years old at the time of her sad demise, passed away abruptly and suddenly.
Her parents’ names were Denver K. and Beatrice “June” (Johnson) Ingram, and she had spent her entire upbringing in the city of Shelby. She was born in Shelby on December 26, 1952, and she spent her entire childhood there. Her parents were Denver K. and Beatrice “June” (Johnson) Ingram. She was named after her mother. She received her diploma from Shelby High School in the year 1971, making that year her graduation year. Barbara’s employment history includes stints at First Federal Bank, where she served as a teller, and at Great Scott, where she was a cashier. Both of these businesses are considered to be financial institutions.

Gardening, baking, playing games on her phone, and doing her hair were some of Barbara’s favorite activities to do in her spare time. Barbara also enjoyed playing games on her phone. Everyone who had the opportunity to know and love her will experience a great feeling of loss after her passing because she was such a special person. She is survived by her husband Darrel Bledsoe, whom she married on August 19, 2000; her daughter Melissa (Sean) Harperink of Cincinnati, Ohio; one grandson, Nickolaus Harperink; step-grandchildren Keith and Veronica Harperink; her siblings Debbie Langford of Tipp City, Ohio, and Steven (Nancy) Ingram of Canton; her half-brother Russ (Laurie) Ingram of New Bern, North Carolina; and her step-daughter Mary Gray, who was her mother-in-law, also went away before she did, so not only had her own parents and husband passed away before she did but also Mary Gray. She was the very first member of her family to pass away.

At a later time, there will be a funeral or memorial ceremony, during which members of the family will have the opportunity to pay their respects to the deceased.
