Anthony Recchio Obituary, Death – On November 10, 2022, Anthony Frank Recchio, 41, died peacefully in St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center. Anthony McNamara was the son of Karen and Sean Recchio, as well as the late David Recchio. RFA graduate since 2000. Anthony was a skilled and zealous carpenter. He enjoyed a good challenge! He was obsessed with one-of-a-kind built-ins, barrel ceilings or walls, and oddly pitched roofs. The majority of his stories were amusing. Despite his claim that construction workers aren’t the brightest, he looked forward to going to work every day. He enjoyed music from the 1960s, 1970s, 1990s, and today. He was a huge fan of John Lennon and Maynard James Keenan’s bands, particularly Tool. He recalled the years when songs and albums of many genres were issued.
Anthony has the ability to make friends with anyone. He frequently came to a halt to assist others. Everyone was attracted by his smile and chuckle. Anthony is devoted to his family. His undying love for his family. Angelo David, his child, was his life. They were best friends who played guitar, raced wheelbarrows, mowed the yard, drove Anthony’s truck on the additional lot, and created daily memories. On October 10, 2015, Anthony married Caitlin (Comeskey) at St. Mary’s Church in Clinton, New York. Their connection was enriched by love. Anthony cherished life and his family. He occasionally phoned his mother for cooking tips or his stepfather and uncles for help. He put his family first.
Anthony’s wife Caitlin and son Angelo are still alive. He is survived by his parents, Karen and Sean McNamara, step-grandmother Joan McNamara, brothers David Recchio and Jeremy McNamara (Meg), sister Jenny Recchio (Craig Widrig), and in-laws Patrick and Maria Comeskey, Kelly and Hans Hagg, and Brian Comeskey (Larissa Kallaur). Gabriella Widrig, Emmeline McNamara, Liliana, Hailey, Nina Hagg, and Michael Sportello are among his nieces and nephews. He was survived by multiple uncles, aunts, and cousins. Frank and Gisella Cimino, his maternal grandparents, and Michael and Angela Recchio, his paternal grandparents, are both deceased.
Anthony performed a generous gesture by donating organs to three families. Although our pain is inexplicable, we are grateful to be able to give others life. On Friday, Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio will celebrate a Christian Burial Mass at St. John the Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. The funeral will be held at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Visitors are welcome at Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. Please tell Angelo a sweet story about Anthony that he will remember as he matures.
