Angela Devenney Obituary, Death – Angela Devenney, whose maiden name was Caldwell, has recently passed away. Previously of Cuilmore, Gurteen, County Sligo; currently residing at 30 Church View, Boyle, County Roscommon; date of death: January 18th, 2023 Passed away quietly, surrounded by the compassionate care of the North West Hospice Sligo.
Her parents, Patrick and Kathleen Caldwell, as well as her infant sister Bernadette, passed away before she was born.
Angela is missed terribly by her spouse Kevin, her children Olivia, Ruth, and Edward, and her grandkids. She is loved very deeply by all of these people. Her sisters and brothers remember her with fondness even after her passing. Frances Caldwell (Leeds), Catherine Davitt (Boyle), Stephen Caldwell (Gurteen), Christine Brennan (Tubbercurry), and Andrew Caldwell (Cuilmore), as well as her sister-in-law Mena and brother-in-law John Joe, as well as her nieces and nephews, extended family, and a large group of close friends.
Angela’s sweet soul deserves to be at rest for all of eternity. On Sunday, January 22nd, Angela’s body will lie in repose at O’Dowd’s Funeral Home in Gurteen from 5 pm until 6.30 pm, after which it will be moved to St. Patrick’s Church in Gurteen, where prayers will be held at 7 pm. On Monday at noon, there will be a Mass celebrating the Resurrection. After that, the burial took place in the Gurteen Cemetery.
