Andrew Ockenden Obituary, Death – Andrew Ockenden, a man who had previously served in the 111 Sqn, passed away on this day, January 8, 2023. He will not be forgotten. He was 85 years old at that point in time. My heart is in a lot of sorrow right now as a result of the news that Andrew Ockenden passed away today. I am sorry to have to break the news to you. Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience. During the time when I was putting together the movie “The Story of the Black Arrows,” Andrew was a tremendous assistance to me. During that period, I was engaged in the production of the film.
During that time period, he made a significant quantity of resources and advice available to me, and I owe him an enormous amount of gratitude for both of these things. I am indebted to him for both of these things. In particular, I am thankful to him for his advice and guidance. He put me in touch with a good number of his former coworkers on the ground crew and assisted in organizing a filming day at North Weald Airfield (see image), which was the location where they had all first worked together in the 1950s. He also assisted in organizing the day’s activities at North Weald Airfield.
In addition to that, he was a helpful participant in the process of organizing the day’s events at North Weald Airfield. On top of that, he was a valuable contributor to the process of organizing the activities that were going to take place at North Weald Airfield that day. In addition to this, he took part in the planning of the activities that were scheduled to take place at North Weald Airfield. During this trying time, I would ask that you please accept my sincere condolences on behalf of not only me but also the rest of the family, which includes Betty. I know this is a tough situation for you all.
