Andrew Lindsey Obituary, Death – Andrew Hall Lindsey’s death on January 7 was sudden. He was a caring brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and son. He had turned 32. Andrew Lindsey, who was born on June 25, 1990, is the son of Bob and Valerie (Bouvier) Lindsey. He grew up in Bloomington and went to Bloomington High School North, where he had good grades and was on the honor roll. He got into the Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education and got a Bachelor of Science in Education.
He got a master’s degree in educational leadership to become a teacher like his parents and grandparents. He taught history and government to middle school students at Martinsville’s John R. Wooden Middle School, where he also coached baseball. He likes to talk about what’s going on in his classroom, and this year with his students, he was having a great time. He was pleased with how well his students did. During his life, Andrew was interested in a lot of different things. He played baseball, basketball, football, wrestling, and other sports when he was younger. As often as he could, he would go hiking and enjoy the outdoors.
He went on many long hikes and felt right at home in nature. He had walked all of Indiana’s state parks and the Appalachian Trail. He loved dogs the most. He was happy to go there several times a year with his family. Andrew had a very close family. His three young nephews loved him, and he was happy to be their uncle. He was always the first to help, and you could always count on him to do so. He had a wonderful, quiet sense of humor and a beautiful smile. In addition to his parents, Bob and Valerie Lindsey, Andrew is survived by his brother Anthony (Elizabeth) Lindsey.
His grandmother Ida Bouvier, his aunts Sherrill (Stuart) Curry, Susan (Al) Velasquez, Suzanne Bouvier, Alain (Kim) Bouvier, Monique (Jon) Loucks, and Andre Bouvier, his nephews Luke, Noah, and Trey Lindsey, and his cousin.
