Alec Medley Obituary, Death – On Monday, January 9, 2023, Alec Joseph Medley, 27, died abruptly. On April 6, 1995, Keith and Joy Medley welcomed him into the world in Louisville, Kentucky. Alec graduated from Guyer High School in 2014 and joined the United States Navy, where he served until 2019. While serving in the military in Northern California, he met his life partner, Kaitlyn. In June of 2018, they married in Texas and soon had their son Kai (2019). Alec started working as a flight technician at Hillwood Airways after returning to Texas from the military. Alec loved being outside and with his family. Alec was a kind, sensitive, and altruistic soul who was adored by everyone who encountered him. He was the most unselfish person, willing to go to any length for anyone.

Knowing Alec entails laughing or making a charming remark with him, whether as a close friend or as a stranger. Alec’s excellent social ability was a rare gift placed upon him, and people were drawn to his contagious and cheery demeanor. Alec was an excellent brother. His demeanor was one of warmth and selflessness. Alec had such an impact on so many people’s lives in such a little time; he accomplished so much before his untimely demise. Mary Patricia Medley, Alec’s grandmother, died before him.

He is survived by his wife, Kaitlyn Medley, and son, Kai Medley, as well as his parents, Keith and Joy Medley, and siblings, Briauna Aristondo (Joe), Seth Medley (GraceAnne – fiancée), Jack Medley, and Kaytlin Whitman. His grandparents, Frank Whitman, Diane English, and Ron Medley, Sr., as well as his nephews Carter, Declan, and Miles Aristondo, Henry Mowan, and niece Grace Millican, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins, survive him. Visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Home on Sunday, January 15, 2023, from 1 PM to 3 PM. St. Mark Catholic Church, 6500 Crawford Rd., Argyle, TX 76226, will hold a funeral Mass on Monday at 1 p.m.
